Works with Smart Life
The controller is brilliant. It works with Smart Life for me. I wanted geolocation for when I come home by motorbike. Thanks to the gate opening sensor, Smart Life sends a notification about the gate being open. I'm extremely happy.

What are the advantages of access control compared to traditional keys?
The biggest advantage is the convenience of managing access. Instead of cutting and handing out keys, you can assign permissions digitally, remove them remotely and more easily control who has entry to a given room or building.
Can an access control system be expanded in the future?
In many cases, yes. Some solutions let you later add more locks, Wi-Fi gateways, readers, exit buttons or additional premises within a single app or installation.
Does access control require running a full cable installation?
Not always. There are battery-powered solutions mounted directly on the door, but there are also wired systems, chosen where integration with an electric strike, an intercom, an exit button or a larger installation is needed.

Do I need specialist knowledge to install an access control system?
Most of our products are designed with simple installation in mind. Many devices can be installed yourself, but for more advanced systems we recommend using an installer's help.
What access methods do your locks offer?
We offer a wide range of locks with different authorisation methods: PIN code, proximity card, fingerprint, face scan and remote access via the Tuya Smart or TTLock apps.
Do the TTLock and Tuya Smart systems require an internet connection?
Yes, to use remote access management features you need a Wi-Fi or Bluetooth connection and internet access. Local unlocking (e.g. with a code or card) doesn't require any network access.
Can I grant temporary access to other people?
Yes. In the Tuya Smart and TTLock systems you can grant temporary access – e.g. to a courier, an employee or a guest – and freely modify or revoke it.
Are the systems secure?
Our products use advanced data encryption and biometric security. The TTLock and Tuya Smart systems have additional layers of protection to keep your home or office safe.
Can I integrate these systems with other smart home devices?
Yes. Devices based on the Tuya Smart platform can be easily integrated with other smart solutions, such as lighting, monitoring, alarms or voice assistants (e.g. Google Assistant, Amazon Alexa).
