The product's casing shape makes everything easier.

Apple Find My trackers use a network of billions of Apple devices. If your tracker is out of range of your iPhone, other nearby Apple devices can “locate” it and anonymously send its position to your Find My app.
Will trackers that work with Apple Find My work with Android phones?
No. Trackers based on Apple Find My are intended only for Apple devices running iOS (iPhone, iPad, Mac). They aren't compatible with Android.
