Very good camera. I recommend it.
Records: day and night. Daytime recordings aren't the best, far from full HD. In my opinion, the quality is about AVI-level, but you can see everything. Nighttime recordings, on the other hand, are well-lit and clear. The only advantage (or drawback) is the very sensitive PIR, which reacted to the flight of (probably) a fly.

The camera sensor is very sensitive, and the recording visibility is fine for me—you can see everything you want to see, and you can easily determine who is who, even in the morning when it's gray outside and the camera is hidden in a darker spot. The sound is okay. Although I don't know much about these cameras, I recommend it because it surprised me. You don't even need Wi-Fi or a phone app. It's a highly recommended device for the price.
