Spreest electric strikes are a key element of access control systems, increasingly used in our homes, but also in public institutions and building evacuation systems. The operating principle is very simple. In the case of symmetrical electric strikes, applying a pulse causes the electric strike to unlock the entrance lock until the door is opened , depending on the memory parameter setting.

Specification

  • Material: Stainless steel + zinc alloy
  • Universal (left/right)
  • Purpose: Access control system, building intercom
  • Voltage: DC 12 V
  • External dimensions of the housing: width 37 mm x depth 34 mm x height 149 mm
  • Power consumption: Depends on model (NO: 12V--240mA, NC: 12V--120mA)

Difference between NC and NO

NC (Normally Closed)

The term NC (Normally Closed) refers to the lock's state when power is removed. In NC mode, when the lock is de-energized, it remains closed. This means the door is secured and cannot be opened without power being applied to the lock.

In the event of a power outage, the doors to your home remain locked, providing additional security.

NO (Normally Open)

The NO (Normally Open) terminology refers to the lock's state when there is no power. In NO mode, when the lock is de-energized, it remains open. This means the door can be opened freely when there is no power.

In the office, during a power outage, the door to your office remains open, allowing easy access.
