Lock Operation Description
The EL-H100 electromagnetic lock consists of an electromagnet that is installed in the door frame and a metal plate screwed to the door leaf.
When the electromagnet coil is powered, the metal plate is attracted with great force, securing the entrance. The maximum pressure on the door at which the electromagnet attracts the metal plate is 60 kg.
Electromagnetic locks, such as the EL-H100, are typically used where safety regulations require the door to open in the event of a power failure in the control system and in places where traditional bolts cannot be installed.
