Description of the lock operation

The EL-100 electromagnetic lock consists of an electromagnet that is installed in the door frame and a metal plate screwed to the door leaf.

When the electromagnet coil is energized, the metal plate is attracted with great force, securing the entrance. The maximum door pressure at which the electromagnet attracts the metal plate is 60 kg.

Electromagnetic locks, such as the EL-100 , are typically used where safety regulations require the door to open after a power failure in the control system and in places where it is not possible to install traditional locks.
