Connection diagram – 12V output button
The exit button operates as an NO (Normally Open) contact and is used to manually release an electric strike or electromagnetic lock in access control systems.
Connection:
- COM → +12V from power supply
- NO → plus (+) of the electric strike
- – electric lock → ground (GND) of the power supply
When the button is pressed, the circuit is closed and 12V voltage is momentarily applied to the electric strike, causing it to unlock.
Application: Exit doors in homes, offices, companies, schools, gyms and other facilities equipped with an access control system.
