The NO electric deadbolt lock from Spreest is a modern and reliable electric strike designed for wooden and metal doors, among others. It consists of two parts – the striker and the housing, allowing for easy installation in various configurations. It can be mounted on either the door frame or the door leaf, providing flexible installation. The lock operates on the principle of magnetic induction, allowing for quick and secure locking and unlocking of the door.

Key features:

1. Security Mode: The door unlocks when powered on and locks when power is off, ensuring safety in various situations.

2. Aluminum alloy lock body structure, solid and durable.

3. Cast steel lock cylinder, wear-resistant, smooth operation, ensuring continuous operation.

4. Versatile: Suitable for wooden and metal doors as well as other preferred scenarios

5. Delay adjustment: Delay can be set to 0, 3 or 6 seconds.

6. Lock and unlock indicators: Red light indicates unlocked and green light indicates locked.

Difference between NC and NO

NC (Normally Closed)

The term NC (Normally Closed) refers to the lock's state when power is removed. In NC mode, when the lock is de-energized, it remains closed. This means the door is secured and cannot be opened without power being applied to the lock.

In the event of a power outage, the doors to your home remain locked, providing additional security.

NO (Normally Open)

The NO (Normally Open) terminology refers to the lock's state when there is no power. In NO mode, when the lock is de-energized, it remains open. This means the door can be opened freely when there is no power.

In the office, during a power outage, the door to your office remains open, allowing easy access.
